I can still remember as a little girl lying in tall grass, imagining myself surrounded by endless fields of wildflowers, herbs, and botanicals. I was captivated by rain, wind, storms, and the ever-changing seasons. I collected rainwater in tiny bottles and steeped herbs and flowers in it, creating my own little botanical potions.

I was fascinated by color—the way sunlight transformed petals, how rain deepened the green of leaves, and how the sky could shift from the softest blue to the most dramatic gray. I found myself collecting beauty everywhere: through photography, painting, and quiet observation. I wanted to capture the fleeting glow of a flower, the movement of clouds, the delicate imperfections found in nature.

By the age of twelve, nature had become a place where my thoughts grew quiet and my imagination came alive. Poetry began to find me—not something I was writing, but something that was writing itself into me. Color, texture, light, and feeling became my language long before I understood where they would lead me.

As I grew older, that childhood connection to nature became a lifelong dream: to create skincare inspired by the natural world. I studied the skin and became a licensed esthetician, discovering the remarkable botanicals of the southern Baltic region. Shaped by long, cold winters and brief growing seasons, these plants develop an extraordinary resilience and concentration of powerful natural actives.
That discovery became the foundation of De Bella Skin—a place where nature, science, and artistry come together. Every formula is thoughtfully created to honor the skin and celebrate the botanicals that inspire it. Each detail, from the ingredients to the colors and designs, is infused with the same sense of wonder that first drew me to the natural world.

As an adult, I began cultivating flower gardens of my own. Cosmos became my favorite flower, and you’ll find them woven into every De Bella Skin design—a delicate reminder of where this journey began.

De Bella Skin is more than skincare. It is my journey from childhood fields, rainwater, herbs, color, photography, painting, and wild imagination to a lifelong dream brought to life.
